The journey between here and there

It’s feeling a lot like Lexmas

I loved the “Lexmas” episode. After 2 crappy repeats I welcomed a new Smallville. I thought the concept was interesting, intriguing and fun. I liked to see ‘good’ Lex. It also explains why Lex gets money and power hungry. After experiencing loss of loved ones I’m sure it can make a person hard. This episode explains why Lex sees that power and money is the most important thing. I just thought it was fabulous!

I loved the reaction to his new family when he woke up. It was priceless! It was really nice to see Lex domesticated and running errands. I also enjoyed the show down between Lionel and Lex, both in real life and in the dream state. I enjoyed every aspect of the dream sequences. They were pieced together nicely and I LOVED IT.

Clark in a button up shirt is always sexy and great eye candy.

Clark playing with Lex’s lil’ one was so sweet. I loved watching him play with the little boy. It just made my heart melt.

The only thing I thought that was odd/weird/funny was Lex falling to the ground after he was shot… now that was overacting. I laughed so hard.

The other bad scene that I didn’t like was the drunk Santa bit. That was a stupid plot.

I did like watching Clark zip around from place to place delivering gifts and the special effects of Clark running down the building to catch Santa.

Everything else about that storyline was just dumb. It just didn’t jive with me. Santa knows who’s good and bad. He is able to see the good, so the whole premise of him grumbling about how the world has gone down hill just doesn’t fly with me. Santa should be able to see the good everywhere. There is a lot of good that goes on in the world, unfortunately the media has a tendency to focus on the bad instead of the good that takes place in the world. I didn’t like the suicidal Santa bit.

This gives a whole new meaning to “I saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus!”
“Hello Santa!”

Did I mention I loved this episode? Well, yes! I Loved it!

4.8 out of 5.

No full marks cuz of the suicidal Santa plot.

What did you think?
