Merry Christmas

This is the first year that I liked Christmas. It was so relaxing and fun. It wasn’t stressful. The best part is that I got to bed at 1am and wasn’t up for 24 hours like I usually am.

Brandon woke up first at 9am and ran downstairs. Then he quickly ran to wake Joshua up. They dashed downstairs very excited by all the presents. “WOW! Look at all the presents! It fills up the entire living room all the way up to the couch!”

Josh then runs up to our room.

“Mom, Dad! We have so many presents! Santa left us too many gifts!”

LOL… I told the kids that they had to choose 1 thing for Christmas and they would only get one gift. So to say Josh was shocked is an understatement. He was flabbergasted. It was so cute.

We had breakfast first and then proceeded to open gifts. Everyone was very pleased with what they got and was quite excited. It was so fun to watch all 5 kids open their gifts. Ryan got me a black razor cell phone, money to go boxing day shopping and tickets to go see Boys to Men on Friday… LOL!!!!!! Good grief, how funny and awesome is that?!?

Laura got her laptop and the iradio she wanted along with a whole bunch of other stuff. Josh got his science experiment set, Brandon got his hot wheels cars and a tonka driving truck, Mya got her baby and stroller and Luke got a couple of chunky cars. They got tonnes more stuff but those were the highlights. Ryan loved his blue tooth Jawbone and I loved my black razor cell phone. It was quite the haul. We spent the rest of the day playing with toys and relaxing. I actually enjoyed Christmas Day this year. No stress or headache. I love having Christmas with just Ryan and the kids. So fun. I love my little family. They are a blast. I don’t want them to grow up.
